PENN Jigmaster Star Drag Conventional Reel

The PENN Jigmaster Star Drag Conventional Reel is one of the company's longest-standing reel series. To this day, it remains a favorite with the albacore charters on the West Coast and kingfish specialists in the Southeast. Its toughness and versatility are what make this reel special: despite its sturdy construction, the Jigmaster can be quickly taken down for on-the-water spool changes – a great feature for when the fish get line-shy and you need to lighten up your approach. Yet there's no denying this reel's power, as it's built on a sturdy frame with Bakelight sideplates, a machined and anodized aluminum spool, rugged brass main gear, and stainless steel pinion gear. Add PENN's battle-proven HT-100 drag system and a counter-balanced handle with oversized knobs, and you're all set to contribute to the Jigmaster's legacy of domination yourself!
